Magic Kingdom

We spent two days at Magic Kingdom and had more fun than any children there. We were big kids in the park for sure! We ate so good there especially on the sugar lol. We had, banana splits, chocolate and caramel covered apples, fudge, brownies, food, food, food. Spaghetti, hamburgers and french fries, chocolate fudge sundaes. Who wouldn't be a kid!? We of course visited all the rides and shops around. Some of our favorites were..The Tea Cups, It's A small World, Pirates Of The Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, The beautiful Carousel. We also loved Mickeys Philharmagic, it was wonderful! The Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, The hall of Presidents, and the Carousel through the years. We had a wonderful time and we will always remember that Disney World is a place where we can always come to realize that our dreams and wishes can come true! Our wishes for now is that my health will improve, as most of you know the week before I came on vacation I had 6 biopsies on my lymph nodes and I was tested for more cancer including Lymphoma Cancer. We wished that I would get better and wouldn't have to be a human pin cushion anymore! We sang Disney songs the whole time we were there!! It was wonderful!

Epcot

Morocco..

This week was girls week, my mom and I headed to Orlando to visit the parks. Our first stop was Epcot. There weren't really any rides but the park was set up like countries. My favorite was Morocco! I love Arabian jewelry, music, the colors, belly dancers, and of course the smell of incense, . It was my favorite, and of course I couldn't leave without buying a CD of Arabia's best dance hits. The best part of the Countries, is that people from the countries were working in the gift shops and restaurants. My moms favorite besides America was Italy. We stopped in Italy for lunch, and while we were there the Italian waiters taught us how to speak a little Italian. We traveled through all the countries and stopped in Germany to get a little German Chocolate Fudge. We had a great day!

Nice day for a drive

We didn't get into much today, My dad has been on a fishing trip since I have been here so today we just drove around different areas, did a little shopping, and relaxing. We are gearing up for our trip to Orlando tomorrow. We will be there for about 3 or 4 days to visit Mickey Mouse. I won't have my computer to blog, but I thought I would post a few pictures of Clearwater.

This is the town of Bellaire, it is very ritzy, but so beautiful. I tease Ryan and tell him we will live here one day!

This is the Marina where dad goes fishing. We were here waiting for his boat to come in.Mom cooking dinner in her KitchenTonight's sunset, we were laying out by the pool and the bay. This is my parents back yard haha

Happy Easter from Paradise!!

My vacation started Easter Sunday, I arrived in Clearwater and was welcomed with the cutest Easter basket from my parents. It had chocolates, an Angel, beach shoes, and the movie The Blindside all inside a beach bag. It was too cute. We started out our morning hearing all the church bells from the church across the street from my parents condo. We went to a huge flea market, then onto a park by the water. We ended the day eating at The Island Way Grill, which is another restaurant in the area that was in the TV show Brooke Knows Best. It is in walking distance from my parents, and we always eat our Easter dinner there. We ate on the deck with a veiw of the water and all the big boats. After dinner we took a stroll to the pier to watch the sunset. It was a wonderful day. I hope everyone had a blessed Easter and counted their blessings!

1st Spring Lunch

I had the biggest surprise today. I was home alone with no one to spend a beautiful Saturday with. I wanted to go out so bad. My brother had called and asked me if I would come to his pizza store to take some pictures of a truck he was trying to sell. In return he would give me pizza! I was getting ready when I heard a knock at the door. It was my nephew! I thought he dropped by to visit, but he said he came to get me so he could take me to lunch. I was so excited! I told him I had to go to the mall and to take pics for his dad. He told me to get in the car. I got my pizza and he got Subway. I told him he didn't have to buy my lunch since I had pizza, but I knew the perfect place for us to go. In Lexington Green there is a Hilton Hotel that has a patio next to the water fall. We took our lunch and grabbed a table. It was so nice and relaxing. We had a blast! I thought I was the lucky Aunt who gets to spoil my nieces and nephews, but they definitely have me spoiled. I am grateful to have them in my life.

Corey Haim

I know I am a dork to even blog about this, but I don't care. I was so devastated when I found out Corey Haim passed away. Growing up I was a huge fan of Corey Haim and of course the two Corey's. I was at work early morning when a co worker shouts OMG Jennifer... Corey Haim is dead. I thought he was joking with me since everyone knew I was a huge fan. It was a sad day in Hollywood and for me. The day it happened I had about 6 people at work tell me the news. Even family and friends were emailing me and texting me the news. I used to tell Ryan that if we ever had a boy we were naming him after the Corey's. I have always loved anything related to the 80's, I guess because it brings back a lot of my childhood memories. Every thing looked so easy in the 80's, and it always seemed like the 80's were the funnest of times. RIP Corey Haim, and thanks for being my childhood/ teen crush!

Concert Time

For our 6 year anniversary Ryan bought me Alice In Chains concert tickets, I was so excited. I have loved this band since I was just about 12 years old and now this was my chance to see them live in concert.. Only took me about 16 years to finally see them! It was a bittersweet moment for me, their music was one of the biggest influences on all my dreams growing up. They were my MUSE in life. They inspired me, and helped me grow up. A lot of my teenage memories were listening to their music. When I was 15 years old I took guitar lessons and the 1st song my teacher taught me how to play was an Alice in Chains song. I had posters plastered all over my wall and T-shirts galore. They were featured in one of my favorite movies, and every time I stayed home sick from school, I would watch that movie and pretend I was in the band. They meant a lot to me. The original singer passed away a few years ago, and the band decided to get back together with a new singer. I have always been told that I am in my element when I am at a concert or a show and it is true, most people have never seen me light up and become more alive, then when I am in front of a band. My best friend always says.. Concerts are what I live for! We all had a great night, and I was in my element with my 2 favorite boys. My hubby and my nephew!
