Fingers Crossed

Ryan has just submitted his paper work and application for clinicals. If he gets accepted he will start working with real patients in August at local hospitals. We are both thrilled, and praying that he gets accepted. We will hopefully hear something next month. Until then we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Cayennes first rock concert

Concerts and live music has ALWAYS been a big deal in my family. My brother took me to my first rock concert when I was 13 years old I haven't stopped going since. I was able to be with my nephew at his first concert when he was 13 Linkin Park, and last night I had the honor of taking my 14 year old niece to her first rock concert Papa Roach!

One of the greatest things about going to a concert is seeing all the cars and people walking down the streets heading to the show. I get the biggest rush seeing that! Silly, I know but it is one of my favorite experiences. On the way down there we were close to Rupp and stuck in traffic. My niece looks over at me and says "this is exciting" I said what? The concert? She said seeing all the cars going to the show. I was floored when she said that! I even got goosebumps. I just know we are going to be going to a lot of concerts here in the future....Muh ha ha.

Even though she was running a fever and chilling horribly she got through it like a Rock Star! She defiantly has the "rock genes" that run in the family! I couldn't be more proud :) it was a great night. I already have our next concert planned~

Vacation is almost here

I am so excited that vacation is less than 3 weeks away. I am jumping on a plane and heading down to Clearwater Beach, FL to visit my parents over the Easter holiday. The good thing is that I will be off work for 11 whole days! The sad part is that I have to leave behind my super sweet hubby, who has to stay because of work and school. But here are a few things I am looking forward to while visiting......

Well as you can see I am really excited to go. I can't wait!

Our 1st Blog!!!

WOW! We did it! We started our first blog. Contrary to popular belief we are pretty private people but we love to have a good time and be big kids. This is also a good way for my parents to keep good tabs on us since they no longer live in KY. On the other side of things I started the blog out of peer pressure from some of my great friends..lol
